This task involved the precise installation of plastic access panels within a newly installed or existing drywall surface. The purpose of these panels is to provide concealed and readily available access to plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC ductwork, or other building systems located behind the drywall.

The location for the access panel was determined based on the location of the concealed system and the client’s needs. The outline of the access panel was carefully marked on the drywall surface using a pencil or marker.

The plastic access panel frame was inserted into the cut opening and was checked for proper fit and alignment.
