Drywall Ceiling Repair Miami

This project addressed a localized drywall imperfection on then ceiling. The scope of work included adding new sheetrock, patching and  sanding to a smooth finish, and applying a paint touch-up to seamlessly blend the repaired area.

The surrounding area was protected with drop cloths to prevent dust and paint splatter and a piece of drywall was cut to the appropriate size and shape to fit the damaged area then the patch was secured to the existing drywall using drywall screws.

All seams and screw holes were covered with drywall tape and multiple thin coats of joint compound were applied. (The compound was allowed to dry completely between coat)

The dried joint compound was sanded smooth using fine-grit sandpaper, creating a seamless surface. The repaired area was primed to ensure proper paint adhesion and the paint color was matched to the existing ceiling paint. Finally, all drop cloths were removed, and the work area was thoroughly cleaned.
